What We Do

At Meadow Green, our Nursery and Reception classes work closely together as part of our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit. Throughout the day, children spend time learning within their own class as well as enjoying opportunities to play and learn alongside one another through shared activities and experiences.

We recognise that every child is unique. Our teaching is carefully adapted to meet each child's individual needs, helping them to feel supported, valued and confident as they grow and learn.

Our Curriculum

In Early Years, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, which supports children's learning and development through carefully planned experiences and age-related milestones.

Our curriculum is designed around children's interests and individual needs, helping to make learning engaging, meaningful and enjoyable.

We use Little Wandle to teach phonics and support children in becoming confident readers and writers.

In mathematics, we follow White Rose Maths and NCETM Mastering Number to develop children's understanding of number, counting and mathematical concepts through practical and engaging activities.

Our school day runs from 8:35am to 3:10pm.

Nursery Sessions

🐝 Morning sessions: 8:35am – 11:30am

🐝 Afternoon sessions available until 3:10pm

🐝 We accept both 15-hour and 30-hour childcare codes

Lunchtime

Children can:
