We place a strong emphasis on developing children's confidence and independence as soon as they start school.
Children are encouraged to take responsibility for their own belongings, including their:

Please ensure your child brings the following items to school each day:
🐝 A named water bottle
🐝 A book bag containing their reading book and reading record
🐝 A named PE kit
In Reception, we closely follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, which supports children's learning and development across all areas of the curriculum.
We carefully plan learning opportunities around children's interests and individual needs, helping to make learning exciting, engaging and meaningful.

Children learn through a balance of adult-led activities and child-initiated play. We make full use of our carefully planned indoor learning environment as well as our beautiful outdoor spaces to support active, hands-on learning experiences.

We use Little Wandle to teach phonics and support children in becoming confident readers and writers.
