Extra-Curricular Activities

At Meadow Green, we offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities to enrich every child’s school experience.

School Clubs

We aim to provide clubs that appeal to a wide variety of interests, helping every child find something they enjoy. Clubs may change throughout the year depending on season, demand and staffing, ensuring a varied and exciting offer.

Clubs run at lunchtime and after school, giving all pupils the opportunity to take part if they wish.

Bees Knees Wraparound Care

Meadow Green provides its own Breakfast and After School Club, offering high-quality care for children across the primary age range.

The club is split into two groups:

• Little Bees – Nursery and KS1 children (ages 3–7)
• Bumble Bees – KS2 children (ages 8–11)

Staffed by familiar and qualified teaching assistants, the provision offers continuity, reassurance and a strong link with the school day.

Breakfast Club

• ⏰ 8.00am – 8.40am (Monday to Friday)
• 💷 £4.40 per session (£4.95 ad-hoc)
• 🍞 Includes cereals, toast, pancakes, baked goods, and hot and cold drinks

After School Club

We offer flexible booking options:

• Short Session: End of school – 4.15pm (£8.25 / £8.80 ad-hoc)
• Long Session: End of school – 5.45pm (£12.10 / £13.75 ad-hoc)

Both sessions include a light snack for children. All provision runs during term time only.

Sports Clubs

Our sports clubs vary throughout the year depending on seasonal activities and coaching availability. We are fortunate to offer a wide range of opportunities through our PE and Sports Coordinator, Miss K. Barnes, working in partnership with the Redditch School Sports Partnership.
