Homework

We value the important role that home learning plays in supporting children's progress and confidence in school.

Children are encouraged to complete the following activities regularly:

🐝 Read daily and discuss their reading with an adult

🐝 Complete Twinkl Spelling activities

🐝 Practise common exception words

🐝 Complete maths homework from the White Rose Maths homework books (pages will be shared on Class Dojo)

🐝 Practise KIRFs (Key Instant Recall Facts), which are updated regularly on Class Dojo

🐝 Complete any pre-learning tasks set by the teacher

Pre-Learning

Pre-learning activities help children prepare for upcoming lessons and encourage them to become curious and enthusiastic learners.

🐝 Activities can be completed at home

🐝 Children can record their ideas, drawings, research or findings in their Home-School Communication Book

🐝 Completed tasks can then be shared and celebrated in class
