Our School Caterers

Meals at Meadow Green are provided by our wonderful cook, Niamh and her team from Solihull Catering Services who are busy in the kitchen each morning preparing quality lunches for our children and staff. Children eat their lunch in  the School Hall , with three staggered services  for FSU, Years 1/2 and 3/4. The older children in year 5/6 have their outside break before coming in for third and final service.

Everyday there is a choice of two main courses and a vegetarian option. Children can also opt for a tasty jacket potato or sandwich with fillings including ham, cheese or tuna. Additionally, there is a salad bar available each day and a choice of breads. For pudding there is also a choice and each day fresh fruit is available. Please advise the school kitchen of any special dietary needs or allergies so we can accommodate them. We do not serve fizzy drinks.

Prices

The current price of a two course meal is £2.20 per day (£11.00 per week). Parents can pay weekly, termly or half termly for school meals. See below for details about meals for children in Reception, Year 1 and 2.

Payment must be made via the ParentPay system  in advance and we ask that you pay for dinners each Monday or pay a larger amount to cover the half term.

Please note your child’s lunch choice will be visible to parents through their Parentpay.
