Mr. H. Swindell
Hi, my name is Hugh and I became a Parent Governor in 2015. My son left Meadow Green, after six years, for secondary school and my daughter is currently in year 3. Working full time my direct contact with the school had been limited and I hoped that by becoming a Parent Governor I would be able to make a positive contribution to the day to day operation of the school. I am Chair of the Finance Committee and also sit on the Strategic Planning Committee.
My day job is in Pensions working for a global HR Outsourcing business in the City Centre.
Miss. J. Pettitt
Hello. My name is Jodie Pettitt and I am an English and French teacher at Woodrush High School. I have been a Secondary School teacher since September 2016. Before that, I was a Primary School teacher in Birmingham for four years. I decided to move my career to secondary teaching because I have always had a passion for English which has stemmed from my A Level and Degree Level studies in English Literature.
I have also been Transition Coordinator at Woodrush High School since March 2017.
