Welcome toMeadow Green PrimaryA Hive of Industry & Learning

With our induction days for our new Nursery and Reception complete we are now looking forward to welcoming the whole school back from Monday 21st September. This phased reintroduction for all year groups has given us the opportunity to monitor the additional mitigations and arrangements that we have put in place to combat  the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

The children are now becoming well used to the additional handwashing routines and the staggered school days.

You will be aware of cases of Covid -19 have increased in neighbouring Birmingham and Solihull.

As the rate of infection is a very serious concern we need to put in additional measures to protect our Meadow Green community.

From Monday 21st September we are asking all adults to:

  • Wear a face covering /mask, when dropping off and picking up children from school.
  • Keep at least 2m apart.
  • Keep your child besides you at all times.
  • Only one adult per family should come onto the school site at pick up times.
  • Older siblings at high school MUST remain off site.

These measures are to ensure that all members of our school community are kept safe.

I thank you in advance for your support.

Further information is available in this week's newsletter.
